I have a weakness for two things. The first thing is food. The second is experimental indie rock with a lot of layers. And when I stumbled over Quick Quick Obey I found that their music fit perfectly into the latter category.
The band is from the small town Thisted in Denmark, and aren't signed by any label yet. Which is a shame, because the music they make is good. A lot of things are happening in each of their songs, take for example the single Sunn. Yet the music doesn't become messy. The different riffs and instruments all contribute to one colorful experience that leave you with a feeling of summer. We can all use more of that in late October.
