This isn't as much an introduction as a self-reminder of why I started this blog. I've blogged before and my biggest problems with it was the question: Why am I blogging? So much time was spent in front of post drafts wondering what was the point of it all. The point of this post is to stop that from happening again.


This blog, elevated, is not an online diary. I have Instagram for when I want to tell the world where I'm drinking coffee and post pictures with my friends. Instead, here I will be writing about things I like and my relevant opinions. A sort of art/culture and debate blog - though I'm not planning on offending people. Here I won't forget that what I post is published on the internet where anyone can see it, including people I know in real life.

I've named this blog after my tendency to get lost in my thoughts. There's also half a hope of being able to get my thoughts in order through blogging. My previous blog (which is now private) was called earth to emma and was named after about the same thing. I erased «elevated»'s first definition, which was "raised to or being at a higher level"because I don't feel better than other people.
